Founder
Evan Seigerman created Blue Outdoor in February 2006, a fresh and innovative outdoor media company, focused on outdoor advertising. His vision for Blue Outdoor was to generate revenue for his partners while providing great signage opportunities for his advertising clients.
Within twelve months of opening Blue Outdoor, Mr. Seigerman signed two long-term agreements with industry leaders; Greyhound Bus Lines, the nation’s largest provider of bus transportation, which serves more than 3,100 destinations with 16,000 daily departures across North America, to place advertising in their terminals across the country; And Pyramid Companies, the largest privately held shopping center developer in the United States, to place advertising in their 15 malls in New York and Massachusetts.
In 2008, Evan Seigerman partnered with The Blackstone Group to maximize the advertising potential for their real estate investments.
Prior to founding Blue Outdoor, Mr. Seigerman created Outdoor Media Group USA (OMG) in December 1998. With OMG, Mr. Seigerman pioneered street banner advertising, seeing an opportunity to beautify America’s cities while sending powerful branding messages. In addition to utilizing street banners as an advertising medium, Mr. Seigerman offered cities such as New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia, the ability to generate incremental revenue while highlighting their special events and exhibitions. With OMG, Evan Seigerman established himself as a leader in non-traditional forms of outdoor advertising.
Mr. Seigerman brought his vision to fruition at the turn of the century. Partnering with the Mayor’s office in New York City, OMG lined the streets of New York with celebratory "NYC 2000" street banners. Mr. Seigerman took what would have been a $500,000 expense to the City of New York and generated over $1,000,000 in revenue. This established Mr. Seigerman as an industry innovator and a leader in street banner advertising.
Mr. Seigerman developed many high profile strategic partnerships, such as: City of New York, City of San Francisco, NYC & Company (CVB of New York), New York Economic Development Corporation, NYC 2012, 14th Street BID, Lincoln Square BID, 34th Street BID, Harlem 125, Guggenheim Museum, Whitney Museum, Children’s Museum of Manhattan, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, MOMA, the Country Music Awards, the Grammy Awards, the US Open, the AFI Lifetime Achievement Awards, the Republican National Convention, the Democratic National Convention and more.
In July 2002, OMG USA was acquired by Titan Outdoor. In his role as President of the Titan Outdoor Banner Division and Board Member, Evan Seigerman continued to generate millions of dollars for city organizations, museums and special events across the country. In January 2006, Mr. Seigerman resigned from his position at Titan Outdoor.
Mr. Seigerman received an MBA degree from Fordham Business School in marketing. He is also a graduate of the George Washington University with a BBA degree in finance. He resides in Manhattan with his wife and their two daughters.
